IBC Bank Robbed in Northwest Oklahoma City

Authorities are searching for two people who robbed an IBC Bank branch this morning in northwest Oklahoma City.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities are searching for two people who robbed an IBC Bank branch this morning in northwest Oklahoma City.

A man and woman entered the bank, 1924 N. Portland Ave., shortly before 10 a.m. The duo provided a teller a threatening demand note, gathered the money, and exited the bank on foot.  No one was injured, FBI Agent Gary Johnson said.

The male is described as Hispanic or Native American, in his 20's, 5'9", heavy set, 200 to 225 pounds, medium length dark hair, and was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.  The female was described as being possibly Asian, in her 20's, heavy set, 175 to 200 pounds, dark hair pulled into a bun, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark sweat pants and a scarf, Johnson said.

The Oklahoma Bankers' Association is offering a $2,000 reward.
