During the next Oklahoma legislative session scheduled to convene Feb. 1st, Oklahomans will be able to use the Internet to hold lawmakers more accountable.  The new online feature cost taxpayers $66k for 4 small robotic cameras to be installed in the House chamber.  At okhouse.gov, a button on the upper right hand side of the homepage takes Internet users to a broadcasting page where sessions will be streamed -live-. House Speaker Chris Benge (R) says the project will instill public confidence of lawmakers and the political system.  However, House Minority Leader Rep. Danny Morgan (D) says he supports the project but questions the timing when the state is still cutting costs due to the rough economy.  Benge says the project was much more affordable than 4 years ago when the House was initially quoted a $4m price tag.  The project cost 1/60th of the original price, equivalent to a $300 camera going on sale for $5.
