OKLAHOMA CITY -- A Tulsa couple is accused of stealing 45 boxes of ammunition.

Police say the couple walked into the Academy store at S.W. 77th Street and Walker Avenue and started loading box after box of ammunition in a hand cart.

Security officers say they saw the pair place clothing on top of the ammo and then head to the dressing rooms.

"They took it back to the fitting room. That raised their suspicion. They came out of there and they could not see the ammunition and they left the store without attempting to pay for it," said Oklahoma City Police MSgt. Gary Knight.

Police arrested Larry Cartwright, 58, and Renee Dodge, 42, as soon as they left the store.

The couple is accused of stealing clothing and a knife in addition to the 45 boxes of ammo. Officers even found a box of ammunition in Dodge's bra when they booked her into the Oklahoma County jail.
