Police made a disturbing discovery after responding to a 911 call about three young girls outside in the freezing temperatures without shoes or coats.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police made a disturbing discovery after responding to a 911 call about three young girls outside in the freezing temperatures without shoes or coats.

Police said when they arrived at a southeast Oklahoma City apartment complex, they found the 6-year-old, 3-year-old and 1-year-old girls inside sitting naked on the couch. Officers said trash was piled up all over the apartment and animal feces covered the floor.

Police took the girls into protective custody.

So far, no charges have been filed against the parents.
