The Oklahoma Geological Survey is reporting Jones felt another earthquake Saturday night. This one was a 3.0 magnitude earthquake.

JONES, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma Geological Survey is reporting Jones felt another earthquake Saturday night.

A 3.0 magnitude earthquake was reported at about 11:05 p.m. two miles southwest of Jones.

Location with respect to nearby cities, according to U.S. Geological Survey:

  • 2 miles SSW of Jones, OK
  • 4 miles NNE of Nicoma Park, OK
  • 4 miles NNW of Choctaw, OK
  • 14 miles ENE of Oklahoma City, OK
  • 192 miles N of Dallas, TX

Quakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3 are generally the smallest felt by people.
