OKLAHOMA CITY -- A former Oklahoma County jailer has been found not guilty for violating the civil rights of an inmate.

Christopher Beckman died Memorial Day weekend back in 2007 after he was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail. Officials initially said it was a seizure, but the medical examiner office ruled his death a homicide.

The federal government charged Gavin Littlejohn with violating the civil rights of an individual. Two other jailers pleaded guilty in exchange for their testimony in the case. The Beckman family has filed a civil lawsuit against the jail.
