LUTHER, Oklahoma – The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office are investigating a stabbing in Luther. The woman, who has been attacked before, believes the man responsible has been stalking her and knew she was going to be home alone.

The woman called police early Wednesday morning saying she was attacked by an unknown man near her home in the 23000 block of N. Luther Road.

The victim said she typically carries a gun and was armed when she was attacked. The victim said she had returned home around 2:45 a.m. When she got out of her vehicle, a man in a ski mask walked up to her, knocked her gun out of her hand and began attacking her with a knife.

"He started stabbing me in my shoulder and I kept backing up from him and at some point he stabbed me in my thigh," the victim said.

Despite being armed she said there was little she could do.

"He hit me in the side of the face and caused me to go off balance and that's when my arm hit the door and so the gun and my purse just went off into the yard," the woman said.

It was only when her dogs tried jumping over the fence to go after him that the man finally stopped and took off running.

The victim believes who ever attacked has been watching her every move, has even called her before and also believes it's the same person who attacked her this time last year.

"He pretty much knows most of the moves I make. He knows when I'm here by myself and when I'm not here by myself and it's always when I'm by myself that things like this happen," she said.

What's worse she said other than his voice she has no way of knowing who is stalking her.

"You could be some place in public and he could be there and I would never know," the victim said.

Because she has no way of knowing who is doing this to her, the woman said she will continue to carry a gun. She also said she won't be going out alone at night again.

The victim suffered non-life threatening stab wounds to her shoulder and one stab wound to her leg. She was treated at an area hospital and released.

The suspect is described as a white male, around 5'9" with a stocky build, deep voice and was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and a black ski mask.

Anyone with information about this incident, call the OCSO Investigation Department at (405) 713-1085.
