64-year-old Accused of Knowingly Trying to Spread HIV

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police have arrested an Oklahoma City man accused of having sex with a woman while knowing he was HIV positive.

Over the weekend, Conrad Billet, 64, called police because a woman wouldn't leave his house, according to a police report.

Master Sgt. Gary Knight said Monday that Billett asked police to help to remove the woman from his home. Knight says the woman told officers she had been in a sexual relationship with Billett but he hadn't told her of his HIV status.

Oklahoma City police arrested Billett Saturday on a complaint of engaging in conduct reasonably likely to transmit AIDS or HIV.

Billett remained at the Oklahoma County jail with bail set at $5,000.
