This holiday season, you can help your favorite charity raise money by just using a different search engine online. And it's totally free!

Goodsearch.com is a search engine that donates 50 percent of its revenue to charities and schools of your choice! The site was created several years ago and is powered by Yahoo!

How does it work? When you sign onto the search engine, you pick the charity you want to donate to and every time you do a search online Goodsearch.com donates 1 penny per search.  For example, if you get 1,000 people to support your charity by doing two free searches per day for a year, your organization or school would earn $7300 by the end of the year!

To date, Goodsearch.com has 85 thousand non-profits and schools signed up and is growing by about 100 new charities each day.  In Oklahoma, dozens of local non-profit organizations and schools have signed up and are making money.  In Tulsa, charities include the Girl scouts, the American Parkinson Disease Association, and Junior Achievement.  In Oklahoma City, charities include the Humane Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Arthritis Foundation, and Junior Achievement.
