OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma City police have filed a manslaughter complaint against an 18-year-old driver whose passenger died when the vehicle crashed.
Master Sgt. Gary Knight says 19-year-old Marcus Wilson was killed when the car in which he was riding struck a tree about 11 p.m. Thursday. Glenn Relerford was hospitalized and listed in critical condition Friday at OU Medical Center.
According to police, an officer saw a car failing to stop at N.W. 31 Street and Western Avenue and then run a driver off the street at N.W. 29 Street and Shartel Avenue.
Knight says the officer turned to pursue the car and saw it had hit a tree.
Relerford also is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana possession.
