OKLAHOMA CITY – Crews have repaired a gas leak in northwest Oklahoma City.
Firefighters say the leak was reported around 7:30 at the southwest corner of N.W. 178th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.
The leak was repaired by 8 a.m. and crews reopened Pennsylvania Avenue.
Don Sherry, Oklahoma Natural Gas spokesman, says the gas was from a pressure relief valve. The valve released pressure after a piece of equipment malfunctioned.
Firefighters says there was no danger to the surrounding area.
