Why MAPS3 Ballot Does Not List Individual Projects

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Due to a 2009 State Supreme Court ruling, the ballot voters will see during the special election on December 8 will not list each individual project the way previous MAPS proposals have.

Because the ballot lacks a list, there have been concerns that passing MAPS3 would be like writing a blank check.

However, the city passed a resolution back in September that states any money passed from MAPS3 must be devoted to a set list of projects, which city leaders have already announced.
