2 Arrested in Death of Man Found in Burning Car

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Police have arrested two people in the death of a man found in the trunk of a burning car.

Antonio Cordell Mendoza, 23, and Sheila Renee Starr, 24, have been arrested and were booked in to the Cleveland County Detention Center on first degree murder charges in the death of Julian Ramirez Cazarez.

Cazarez was found in the burning car on a rural Norman road back on November 15. An autopsy report revealed Cazarez died of strangulation.

Police said formal charges against Mendoza and Starr should be filed on Monday.

Investigators said more arrests are possible.
