1 pkg. (24 to 48 count) frozen rolls
1 c. and 2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 stick butter
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. pecans

Dissolve brown sugar in melted butter. Add cinnamon. Arrange rolls in a Bundt pan. (The will be layered.) Sprinkle pecans over rolls. Pour sugar mixture over top. Let rise on counter top overnight. Cover with damp cloth. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Cover the last 10 or 15 minutes with foil.

My wife Mary is a terrific cook. She seems to take great pleasure in surprising me with a new, tasty meal or goodie. Recently I awoke early, retrieved the newspaper and headed for the kitchen where the normal low light was on. Half awake, I saw something move off to my right near the stove. I squinted, hoping to get a better view and the darn thing moved again. For an instant I thought there was a weird animal on the counter. On closer examination I discovered growing Monkey Bread, rising upward, outward and downward from its much too small container. I put a photograph of the entity on Facebook and no one could figure out what it was!
