OKLAHOMA CITY -- Voters in two Oklahoma County cities passed bonds for education during a special election Tuesday.

Voters in the Putnam City School district passed two bond proposals totaling $80.6 million. Some of the projects it will pay for include building a new elementary school, renovating existing schools and building athletic facilities at Putnam City and Putnam West High Schools.

Voters in the Edmond Public School district also passed two bonds totaling $36.1 million. A majority of that money will pay to add classrooms to six elementary schools and renovate Memorial high school.
