One Person Shot During Argument, Police Search for Gunman

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police are searching for a gunman after an argument escalated and one person was shot.

Police were called to the Whitby Courts Apartments near Rockwell Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard Monday night where two people were in a heated discussion. By the time officers arrived, the fight had already escalated.

“One person produced a handgun and fired several shots at the other subject. That person was hit two to three times,” Oklahoma City Police Lt. Ron Bacy said.

The victim’s name and condition have not been released.

Police are talking to witnesses in hopes of tracking down the gunman.
