OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are investigating a shooting in southwest Oklahoma City.
Oklahoma City police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said Monday that the victim was at a stop sign in his sport utility vehicle at Blackwelder Avenue and an Interstate 240 service road when a white pickup truck pulled up behind him.
Witnesses said the shooter walked up and fired into a car and then drove up to another car at the same intersection, jumped out of his car, said something to the effect of "nobody messes with me" and then he shot the driver of the other car in the face.
The incident happened in front of two apartment complexes.
The search is still on for the gunman. Police say the victim is still alive but in critical condition.
