ESPN Reports No New Injuries for OU's Sam Bradford

Sooners quarterback Sam Bradford reinjured his right shoulder early in No. 20 Oklahoma's game against No. 3 Texas on Saturday. ESPN.com is reporting he did not suffer any new injuries.

DALLAS, Texas -- OU's starting quarterback Sam Bradford suffered a sidelining injury in the first quarter of the Red River Rivalry.

ESPN's Joe Schad is reporting Bradford only re-injured his shoulder, he did not have any new injuries. Read more on ESPN.com.

OU is not expected to announce more about Bradford's condition or treatment plan until later this week.

Texas cornerback Aaron Williams tackled Bradford at his waist, bringing him to the ground as Bradford landed on his throwing-arm shoulder. Bradford was helped off the field, grimacing in pain.

Redshirt freshman Landry Jones took to the field, replacing the Heisman Trophy-winner.

Bradford was taken for x-rays at halftime to determine how severe his injury could be, and returned to the sidelines without his jersey or pads in the third quarter.

With quarterback Sam Bradford sidelined, replacement Landry Jones threw interceptions on the Sooners' last two drives of the game and helped Texas secure a 16-13 win in the Red River Rivalry.
