OKLAHOMA CITY -- A car goes into the shop for a minor scratch and comes out a completely different color.
It's been corrected now, but the owner said only after a lot of frustration and now money.
The owner of the car said she took it to Extreme Paint and Body in Oklahoma City. She said when they mismatched the paint on the trunk, they repainted the whole maroon car a purple color, and she said that's not the worst of it.
She said less than two months later, the paint started to peel off. The paint shop owner agreed to let her take it some place else and pick up the tab.
The car's been repainted, but the tab has not been paid. The owner of Extreme Paint talks to NEWS 9's Consumer Watch team. Hear his reason for not paying the bill and legal analyst's take, tonight on NEWS 9 at 10.
