Man Accused of Choking Police Dog, Drunk Driving

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A man accused of drunk driving was arrested for attacking an Oklahoma County K-9 officer.

An Oklahoma County K-9 unit pulled over Jayce Dodd. The deputy noticed Dodd appeared to be driving under the influence.

The deputy said once Dodd got out of the car, he started choking the K-9. The dog was not hurt but Dodd has several minor bite wounds.

Dodd was arrested and booked on complaints of mistreating/interference with a police animal, resisting arrest and DUI.
