CLAREMORE, OK -- The stars were out on Emmy Sunday, and some of Hollywood's finest were wearing Oklahoma products. A Claremore-based cosmetics firm has been selected to provide gift bags for Emmy nominees.

Earth Angel Minerals is an organic cosmetic and skin care company owned by Claremore resident Christine Keeter. The company has formulated a special nine-piece gift bag for two Emmy week events including the Think Pink Emmy Awards Style Lounge.

"We are so excited to have been selected to participate in the annual Think Pink Emmy Awards Style Lounge," said Christine Keeter, company president.

"This is a huge honor for our company to be recognized on such a national level like the Emmy awards," Keeter said.

The company is also taking part in a two-day Emmy event for Emerging Magazine that will be covered by high fashion media like Elle and The Style Network.

Keeter formulated a special limited edition Emmy color collection for the awards show inspired by the ceremony's logo banner for 2009. She chose names for each color after reading about Emmy history.

"Our all-over face color is called Pink Magnolia after one of the streets where the Television Academy is located," she said.

Debbie Reynolds once called the pinkish academy building "Sandy Peach," and Keeter used that name for an eye powder color.

"Ms. Emm eye and body shimmer is named for Ms. Emmy herself," she said.

Earth Angel Minerals cosmetics and skin care products are formulated of pure minerals and organic color pigments from the earth, according to Keeter.

"They contain rich bio-active botanicals and antioxidants extracted from organically grown flowers, fruits, herbs and root vegetables," she said.

Keeter is a retired ICU nurse who is currently studying to receive a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

"I take care to handle everything in a sterile environment, and I'm very picky about what I place on my skin," she said.

The company sells their products through online shopping, spas and salons. The Think Pink Emmy Awards Style Lounge helps to raise money and awareness for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the Tiger Lily Foundation.
