Woman Dies in Kilpatrick Turnpike Crash

OKLAHOMA CITY - A woman was killed Wednesday night after driving into oncoming traffic on the Kilpatrick Turnpike in north Oklahoma City.

The 28-year-old Oklahoma City woman was pronounced dead at the scene near Pennsylvania Avenue, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.

The woman was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of the turnpike and collided with an oncoming car.

The driver of the second vehicle was transported to OU Medical Center and was treated and released for her injuries.
