Man Shot During Attempted Carjacking

OKLHAOMA CITY -- An attempted carjacking victim was shot in the leg after refusing to give up his car.

The incident happened at the Handy Sack store at northeast 27th and Kelley Avenue.

Police said a gunman walked up to victim and demanded his keys. When the victim refused to hand them over, the gunman shot him and then took off.

The gunman was described as a black male in his late teens or 20s and was last seen wearing a black shirt and yellow hat.

The victims name was not released.
