OKLAHOMA CITY -- The woman accused of burning her 9-year-old child with a hot potato masher is out of jail on bond.

Joycelyn Louis, 72, was the child's foster mother when he was an infant but later became his legal guardian.

Louis now faces charges of child abuse after using the red-hot potato masher to burn the boys skin as a punishment. Louis claims the boy stole money from her.

She is out of jail on a $10,000 bond.
