ANADARKO, Oklahoma -- Pastors in Anadarko are being warned to be on alert following the brutal murder of a pastor on Sunday.

About two dozen people showed up for a meeting with Caddo County District Attorney Bret Burns Wednesday morning. Those in attendance said the mood was of great concern for what happened to Pastor Carol Daniels, who was murdered inside her own church.

"Anybody that would murder someone in a church in broad daylight is a concern and we're focused on catching someone," Burns said.

Churches like Grace Christian are joining in the effort to increase security around their church by adding security cameras.

"The DA just wanted to encourage all the pastors to be aware of anything that might not be normal in their service, anything unusual or suspicious, to be sure to call and report anything out of the ordinary," said Ted Mercer, Anadarko Ministerial Alliance.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the Daniels' killer.

A vigil to honor Pastor Carol Daniels has been planned for Friday at the Greater Baptist Church of Anadarko, 502 E Washington. The vigil starts at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.
