Former OU Football Player Faces Felony Charges

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- A former University of Oklahoma football player is facing felony charges of lewd acts with a child and child pornography.

Eric Thunander is charged with three counts of lewd acts with a child and one count of child pornography.

"Mr. Thunander was living with or good friends with a family and began to inappropriately touch a child victim age 9 and she reported to her daycare what had been happening," said Greg Mashburn, Cleveland County District Attorney.

Authorities also seized Thunander's computer. Mashburn said Thunander confessed to downloading child pornography.

A warrant has been issued for Thunander's arrest.
