OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Police were led on a high-speed chase Thursday morning that led to the suspect's arrest.

According to Oklahoma City Police Capt. Steve McCool 33-year-old Darrell Porter was taken into custody after he hit a parked car during the chase.

The vehicle showed a stolen tag going eastbound at speeds reached up to 80 mph down NW 16th Street near Council Road.

Porter eventually bailed and tried to run off in a neighborhood near NW 17th Street and Villa. Officers caught him a few minutes later.

Porter is being held at the Oklahoma County jail.
