Suspect Arrested in Del City Homicide

DEL CITY, Oklahoma -- Del City police have arrested a man wanted in connection to a deadly shooting.

Police said 19-year-old Christopher Leake was one of the suspects involved in the shooting of Marcello Jones inside a Del City apartment on Saturday.

Leake turned himself in at the Del City Police Department after learning he was wanted in connection to the shooting.

Police are still looking for as many as three more suspects, however, Leake is believed to be the person who actually pulled the trigger, police said.

Jones was in the apartment with five other men when the Leake entered, shot him repeatedly and then ran from the scene, Del City police said. The incident is believed to be gang related.
