STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- With Zac Robinson already missing time this preseason due to a hamstring injury, the Oklahoma State University Cowboys football team suffered another devastating injury to an offensive player.
Running back Kye Staley will miss the entire season after tearing several knee ligaments during an OSU practice Saturday.
The Guthrie native suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus when a player rolled into his knee while carrying the ball.
Staley, a redshirt freshman, was expected to contribute to the squad while backing up All-American junior Kendall Hunter, and seniors Keith Toston and Beau Johnson at the position.
