OKLAHOMA CITY -- For the last 30 months, homeowner Lindsay Ross has paid her OGE bill in full and on time.

That's why she was shocked when she received a letter in the mail for the electric company.  It said OGE had made a mistake.  For the last 30 months they had been charging her for her neighbor's usage - and charging her neighbor, who lives across the street, for her usage.

Instead of writing it off, they say Lindsay used more electricity than she was charged for, therefore, owes the company $2,200.

She says she shouldn't have to pay it, since it was their mistake.  We'll show OGE's response and how to help prevent something like it from happening to you.  The Consumer Watch story tonight on NEWS 9 at 10.
