We're trying to help homeowner Cynthia Bullock by getting ahold of her mortgage company to find out why they allegedly stopped paying her insurance premiums.  I  understand some of her frustration when it comes to trying to get answers.  I called Saxon mortgage last Thursday and I left a message with a lady who said someone would get back to me by 5pm on Friday.  5pm came and went.  I called today and was told that Cynthia would have to call and give the company permission to talk to me.  But the number they had Cynthia call, only got her a recording which said that because of some company event, they were unable to take the call.  Then she called the regular 1-800 number.  The representative says Cynthia must fax them before they can talk to me, and even then, it will take 48 hours to post the new information.  That is why I'm still waiting on a response from Saxon.  If I don't hear from them by the end of the week, I'll give them another call.

In Oklahoma, the Department of Consumer Credit oversees mortgage companies.  If I had a problem with my mortgage company, I would file a complaint with the department.  Click here for their form.

And because this has to do with insurance, there's a chance the Oklahoma Department of Insurance may be able to assist the consumer.  To file a request for assistance, click here.
