1-year-old Run Over By Car in Norman

A 1-year-old boy was killed Thursday in Norman when a relative accidentally ran over him with a car, authorities said.

NORMAN, Oklahoma - A 1-year-old boy was killed Thursday when a relative accidentally ran over him with a car, authorities said.

According to OHP the incident occurred at about 4 p.m. in the 1900 block of Woodhollow Lane near Harrah Newella and Franklin roads. The boy, 1-year-old J.D. Stout, was accidentally run over by his uncle, family members confirmed.

"The car pulled out of the driveway, thought they had all the kids in sights and there was obviously a child that got under a tire," said Ed Moore, the family's pastor.

Family members were at the home Thursday for a family gathering. Many children were there.

"Giving them comfort, that's the most important thing right now," Moore said.
