Elderly Woman Dies in Oklahoma City House Fire

OKLAHOMA CITY - An elderly woman has died in a house fire this afternoon in northwest Oklahoma City.

Firefighters were called to the house in the 4200 block of Westridge Street around 1 p.m.

Firefighters said when they arrived several neighbors were trying to rescue the woman and put out the fire with a garden house.

Firefighters were able to enter the home when they arrived, but the woman had already died.
