EAKLY, Oklahoma -- The Bank of Hydro in Eakly was robbed Thursday afternoon.
Around 1:30 p.m., a white male wearing a mask entered the bank, located at 414 W Main Street. The suspect pointed a rifle at bank employees and demanded money.
The suspect gathered the money in a cloth bag. The robber fled the scene in a 2002 to 2004 white Chevrolet truck with an OSU sticker in the back window and a muddy exterior. The truck was a single cab with a long bed.
The vehicle traveled east on Main Street, south for 1 mile, west for 3 miles and north 3 miles. It was last seen in that area northwest of Eakly.
The robber is described as a white male, 6'0", thin, in his 20's, wearing a mask, coveralls and tennis shoes.
No one was injured during the incident. Anyone with information about the robbery should contact the FBI at (405) 290-7770 or 1-800-OHP-TIPS.
A reward of up to $2000 is being offered by the Oklahoma Bankers Association for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the robber.
