The Heat Wave Continues

You know the story, I feel your pain - we all do. Heat. This recent heat wave still has several more days to bake Oklahoma with temperatures ranging from 100-110 degrees during peak afternoon heating. Overnight conditions will remain quite warm with temperatures only dropping into the middle 70s to around 80.

Relief from the sizzling heat will arrive Wednesday, as the upper-level high pressure responsible for the heat weakens. A cool front sliding in Thursday and Friday will provide further relief with cooler temperatures, and a slight chance of rain.

Drink plenty of water, try to stay in an air-conditioned facility, make sure your pets have plenty of water and check up on relatives and neighbors.
