OKLAHOMA CITY -- A baby shower on the northwest side of the Metro ended with several arrests, numerous injuries and two damaged cars.

According to an Oklahoma City police report, officers were dispatched to the scene two separate times on Saturday to settle fights.

Jai Robinson, who attended the baby shower, said the brawl happened shortly after she arrived at the party.

"The lady across the street, my car was parked in front of her house. My sister parked it there. The lady across the street came out and told us, ‘ya'll need to move your f-ing car,'" Jai Robinson said.

Robinson said that woman's words quickly escalated into punches and Robinson's head was pushed into her car window.

"I guess when I went through the window a piece of glass still stuck in the window cut my arm," Robinson said.

The neighbor's van was damaged after someone threw a brick through the back window.

"The individuals in this fight all declined to press charges and stated the issue was resolved and did not need any further police attention. Officers left the scene assured and confident that the situation had been resolved," said Oklahoma Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow.

But hours later, police were again called out to the scene after another fight broke out.

Christa Booker hosted the baby shower and said she witnessed the second dispute.

"We heard a commotion. We were cleaning up, so my daughter I was throwing a baby shower for said they are arguing across the street," Christa Booker said.

Booker's neighbors across the street told police a group of young adults from the baby shower were yelling threats, had weapons and were throwing bricks.

"One of the victims sustained multiple cuts and possible a broken bone due to the attack with the bricks," Wardlow said.

The injured victim would not comment on the fight.

Robinson was one of five women arrested Saturday. She said the whole situation could have been avoided.

"She didn't have to start cussing and I really could have moved my car faster to be honest," she said.

Robinson was accused of throwing bricks at the woman across the street. She was charged with assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon.

The four other people arrested were charged with disorderly conduct.
