Small Businesses Could Get Interest Free Loans

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Your favorite coffee shop, local hair salon and other small businesses may soon get interest free loans from the government.

It's part of the stimulus package signed into law last February.

This program allows small businesses to take out loans of $35,000 to pay down existing debt. To qualify, businesses must not be failing though.

Congressman Dan Boren announced the loan program Monday. He's the only member of Oklahoma's delegation to vote for the stimulus package.
