After an active evening last night with storms in northern parts of the state, Oklahoma will receive another round of storms this afternoon and tonight.
Temperatures will get up into the lower 90s this afternoon with southerly winds at 10 to 20 miles per hour. There is a 60% chance for the metro to see some showers and thunderstorms late today.
There is a slight risk for severe weather with these thunderstorms, with the main threats being large hail and damaging wind.
