FBI, Police Seek Norman Bank Robber

A man was caught on surveillance video robbing a Bank of the West in Norman Wednesday morning.

NORMAN, Oklahoma - A man was caught on surveillance video robbing a Bank of the West in Norman Wednesday morning.

According to FBI Special agent, Gary Johnson, a white male entered the bank, 2122 W. Main St., at about 10:30 a.m. and approached the teller demanding money. The suspect had a black semiautomatic pistol and threatened to kill the employees if they did not comply with this demands. He left the bank on foot in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5'5" to 5'8", medium build, 180 pounds in his mid to late 20s. He was wearing a black ski mask, gray sweatshirt or long sleeved T-shirt, dark colored pants and dark colored tennis shoes at the time of the robbery. He was carrying a yellow and black backpack.
