OKLAHOMA CITY -- The only thing bigger than Wayman Tisdale's smile was his heart. Tisdale left us Friday morning at a Tulsa hospital ending a 2-year bout with cancer.

He was a great Oklahoman whose talents stretched across both sports and music.

Everyone who knew Wayman loved him. His talent on the basketball court and in the recording booth loomed large. So we're not going to focus on his 3-time All-American status at OU, his illustrious professional basketball career or his musical genius. We're going to let the late, great Wayman Tisdale, and those who knew him speak for themselves.

Listen as those who knew and loved him tell the story of Wayman Tisdale's legacy.

Tisdale is survived by his wife, Regina, and four children. Funeral Arrangements are pending.
