Grass Fire Spreads in Mooreland

MOORELAND, Oklahoma - A grass fire ignited Friday evening in Mooreland, just southeast of Woodward.

Seven fire departments responded to the blaze. High winds and dry conditions are helping to fuel the fire near Hwy 50 and Hwy 270.

Fire crews said it was an earlier fire that rekindled. No injuries have been reported and no structures have been damaged.

Firefighters have the blaze under control, but the are still working on putting out the hot spots.
