Description

A coconut cake with fruit, delicious warm or cool!


Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 cup macadamia or pecans, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prep: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prep: Spray a 9x13 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Combine: Pour the crushed pineapple and cherry pie filling into the pan.
  4. Combine: Stir to combine.
  5. Combine: Mix together the cake mix, coconut and nuts in a bowl.
  6. Combine: Sprinkle the dry mixture over the top of the fruit.
  7. Combine: Make sure to cover completely.
  8. Combine: Pour the melted butter over the top.
  9. Cook: Bake for 50-60 minutes.
  10. Cool: Serve warm or cooled. Either way it is delicious!
