Description
A great way to use cream of chicken soup!
Ingredients
- 3 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 boneless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- 1 cup sweet peas
- 1/2 red pepper, diced
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup white wine
- Serve on toast points
Instructions
- Make Chicken ala King: Sauté the chicken breasts in a large sauce pan till they are lightly browned.
- Make Chicken ala King: Stir in the white wine, 2 1/2 cups cream of chicken soup, cream, peas, mushrooms, and red pepper and simmer.
- Make Chicken ala King: Spoon the warm chicken mixture over the top of the toast points.
- Make Chicken ala King: Garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary.
