'Grotesque Disregard For Life': Ohio Ex-Cheerleader Sentenced To Probation In Newborn's Death
<p>A former Ohio high school cheerleader accused of killing her newborn daughter two days after attending her senior prom was sentenced Friday. Brooke Skylar Richardson was acquitted of the most serious charges, including murder, but was convicted of abuse of a corpse. The judge told Richardson the young woman had a "grotesque disregard for life" after the infant's body was found buried in Richardson’s backyard.
