Bald Eagle Stolen From Wildlife Refuge, Search Underway
<p>Police on the east end of Long Island are searching for a bald eagle after the federally protected bird was cut from his cage at a Preserve. The crime was committed at Quogue Wildlife Refuge. The 35 year old bald eagle nicknamed Sammy has been a part of the refuge for decades ever since the bird was shot by a hunter. </p>Thursday, July 18th 2019, 8:02 am
