OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police said they have found meth supplies in an apartment where a fire started overnight Wednesday.

Oklahoma City Fire Department said the fire was intentionally set. Reportedly the occupant who lived in the apartment where the fire originated was placed in custody on an arson complaint.

Several families have been displaced from the Meridian Ridge Apartments on N Meridian Avenue after the fire severely damaged the building. A total of 12 units were damaged.

Everyone was able to get out of their homes safely, and the Red Cross is assisting the displaced families.

A total of $300,000 worth of damage was caused by the fire.
