Parents Suspected of Manslaughter, Providing Alcohol to Minors

Two parents were out on bail Monday after being booked on manslaughter charges in the death of a Tuttle High School cheerleader.

TUTTLE, Oklahoma - Two parents were out on bail Monday after being booked on manslaughter charges in the death of a Tuttle High School cheerleader.

John and Cheryl Kyle are also charged with providing alcohol to minors after they purchased $86 worth of liquor for a party attended by minors.

Kaityln Mounce died in a wreck January 11 when the truck she was riding in crashed into a telephone pole. The driver, 16-year-old Lance Davis, was allegedly drinking at the party before he attempted to drive, police said.

Davis has also been charged with manslaughter.
