Accident Closes Northbound Lanes of I-35

MOORE, Oklahoma -- A severe car accident closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 35 except the inside lane near 27 Street in Moore Saturday evening.

Police said 44-year-old Gary Watkins was injured after he fell out of the back of a pick-up truck, while riding on a mattress.

The victim fell from the truck onto the highway. He was transported to OU Medical Center.

Watkins is listed in critical condition.
