Hey there everyone... We have all made them...
New Year's resolutions.!!! I know people who are wanting to lose weight.. quit smoking.. or just get more organized!! But it seems like this year the one goal we all have for the new year is how to save more... spend less.. and reduce our debt. The Power for your Pockekbook this morning with some other ways to save cash.
We've all heard right now..Cash is King... Here are some easy tips I found from msnbc.com to save a little green.
How about putting the whole family on one cell phone plan.. companies have begun to give large incentives and savings to those that sign up for these plans.
Another idea..... Why don"t you try cutting your family's hair? This is not as hard as it may seem.. You can save money on the little clips.... (but one note... careful using tape as a guide for the bangs... I did that to my boy once and his bangs kept getting shorter and shorter....: ).
How about a double birthday party for your child. Find a friend or family member that has a child's birthday around the same time as yours. . a joint party will save you both money.
And when it comes to eating.....eat more soup!! Soup costs a fraction of the amount of an average meal to make. You can eat large quantities of vegetable and protein filled soup and save money.
Try to join a movie rental club that ships you movies in the mail. Share the movies and the costs of joining the movie rental club with a couple of neighbors. This will save you money and help you to stay up to date with all of the new movies. Just another way to save while thinking outside the box.
Hope you are having the best start to your new year....
