Change of Command at Tinker

MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -- The leadership of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center was officially passed to Major General P. David Gillett, Junior Wednesday morning.

Major General Loren Reno is moving to a new position with the Air Force in Washington.

Major General Gillett plans to capitalize on strengths already at the base. He said the most important investment is their people.

"We'll focus on giving our people the skills to sustain today's mission and provide new skills to lead for the future," Major General Gillett said.

Gillett was stationed at Tinker in 2000.
